The Task
The modern parking industry is shifting away from traditional barriers and manual ticketing toward digital solutions powered by automatic license plate recognition (ALPR). Avantpark has developed a system in which advanced cameras accurately detect vehicle entry and exit with high precision.
Nord Technology was tasked with developing an IoT-based solution that ensures reliable and secure data transmission from parking sites to Avantpark’s data processing centers.
The solution needed to be not only stable and fault-tolerant, but also designed for outdoor use — with the robustness to withstand changing weather conditions and harsh environments.
The solution
To meet these requirements, Nord Technology designed a simple yet robust IoT solution that seamlessly integrates hardware and software for fault-free operation.
We selected the Taicenn TBOX, an industrial-grade computer known for its stability in demanding environments, combined with Teltonika routers and switches to ensure reliable and secure data transmission.
All hardware is mounted on DIN rails and enclosed in a compact industrial-grade cabinet, designed for easy on-site installation and maintenance.
The solution is both flexible and scalable, allowing it to be adapted to Avantpark’s specific requirements and future expansions.
